Vyvienne to perform on RTE’s Christmas Eve “Arena”

Vyvienne to perform two songs from her multi platinum granny nominated billboard chart topping heart stopping album “Caterpillar Sarabande” for RTE Radio 1’s Arena show. Joining her will be Mary Barnecutt on Cello, Raoul Empey on piano, and a very, very, top choir. Tune in on Christmas Eve.

Vyvienne has confirmed that her Workmans Club gig will not be going ahead due to adverse weather conditions hampering all efforts.

The line up which was to include Mary Barnecutt cello, Dan Bodwell double bass, Lance Coburn piano, Steve Hogan drums, Cormac O Haodain french horn, and a choir of 6 promised to be a musical trip fantastic.

All is not lost, tune in to Arena on Christmas Eve to hear Vyvienne perform with the choir of 6.

The Fringe, National Concert Hall, Sept 13th-18th

Vyvienne to sing in Roger Doyle’s A Room in the Tower as part of Dublins Fringe Festival.

Wicklow Artists Live Festival 31st July

Vyvienne will be playing Greystones Theatre this Saturday 31st July as part of the Wicklow Artists Live Festival.  Although her set will be mainly solo, some friends have promised to embellish on backing vocals! On piano and cello, Vyviene will perform songs from her album Caterpillar Sarabande alongside some very fresh new material.

July 2010 Performing at the Secret Festival, Sweden

Vyvienne has been invited to join 9 other artists from around Europe to appear at The Secret Festival on the island of Oland in Sweden. The festival is secret because the audience do not know where on the island the concerts take place until they are brought to the location on the night! The festival concerts happen over four days from Wednesday 30th June till Saturday 3rd of July. Vyvienne has also been invited to headline the first open air concert in a series entitled World Music Wednesday on Wednesday  7th of July in the city of Kalmar, Sweden. Keeping the sunglasses firmly on her head, Vyvienne is looking forward to some 24 hour sunlight.
